Common Grounding Farm School at Juniper Springs

A Place Where Learning is Rooted in the Land

At Common Grounding’s Farm School, nestled within the regenerative landscape of Juniper Springs, we will offer a hands-on, immersive education that weaves together nature, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Designed for children of all ages and adults alike, our farm-based school transforms the land into a living classroom where students grow in knowledge, confidence, and resilience.

Empowering Through Experiential Learning

Our educational programs place children at the heart of the land, engaging them in regenerative agriculture, traditional crafts, and real-world business skills. Here, learning isn’t confined to books—it happens with hands in the soil, minds crafting ideas, and hearts igniting passion. We teach young people the invaluable skills of self-sufficiency, collaboration, and environmental stewardship while inspiring them to become creators and innovators in their own right.

Our Model Includes...

Life Skills & Homesteading – Students learn the fundamentals of growing food, raising animals, building structures, cooking from scratch, and sustainable living practices.

Plant Wisdom & Herbalism – The farm becomes a sanctuary for discovering the power of plants, from seed to medicine, teaching natural healing, permaculture, and ecological restoration.

Art, Craft & Creativity – From woodworking and pottery to natural dyeing and fiber arts, we foster hands-on creativity that connects students to heritage skills and sustainable practices.

Entrepreneurship & Stewardship – We guide youth in launching their own farm-based micro-businesses, encouraging them to develop products, provide services, and learn financial literacy.

Volunteer & Work-Trade Experience – Students have the opportunity to contribute to the land and community while gaining real-world experience that strengthens their personal and professional development.

Family Living at Festi_Ville.jpg

A School For All Ages

While our core focus is on youth education, we believe that learning is lifelong. We offer workshops, apprenticeships, and immersive retreats for adults who seek to deepen their connection to regenerative living and land-based skills. Families can learn together, and individuals can find their own path through self-directed education and skill-building opportunities.

Learning by Doing

Growing our Future

Through immersive projects, apprenticeships, and mentorship, our students experience a curriculum that is fluid, adaptive, and deeply connected to the cycles of the land. Whether they are managing a market garden, crafting botanical remedies, designing permaculture systems, or leading a farm tour, every lesson is rooted in hands-on engagement and meaningful contribution.

Common Grounding’s Farm School at Juniper Springs is more than just a school—it is a movement toward a more resilient, connected, and creative future. Whether your child is dreaming of building a tiny home, crafting herbal skincare, raising sheep, or launching a farm-to-table business, we provide the space, knowledge, and community to make it happen.

Community Classes

In addition to our core programs, we provide a diverse range of community classes and workshops, spanning from a single afternoon session to an immersive two-week natural home-building experience. Whether you're looking to refine a craft, gain practical homesteading knowledge, or participate in a deep-dive regenerative living course, our offerings are designed to be accessible and enriching for all.
